Hampstead-Free Studio For 15 Hrs Weekly Support

A lovely opportunity for a a mature university student or someone who works from home to live in a very large, friendly family home in Hampstead in exchange for 15 hours of weekly help. The house is 10 mins walk from Hampstead and Belsize Park underground stn.

The family is warm, respectful, and leads busy lives, often travelling during school holidays. The parents are professionals with five children in total — three live out (one at boarding school ) and two currently at home, aged 18 and 23. The household also includes two friendly medium-sized dogs.

You’ll have your own self-contained studio with a double bed, private bathroom, and kitchenette on the lower ground floor, plus access to the main prep kitchen used by the family’s chef. The home is spacious, equipped with a modern security system and smart home technology throughout. All bills and Wi-Fi are included.

WHATS REQUIRED:
-Daily dog walking
-House-sitting and overnight stays when the family travels or out for dinner/weekends (especially during school holidays, usually 1–3 weeks at a time)
-Light household support (bins, deliveries, tidying the main kitchen etc)
-No heavy cleaning – a full-time housekeeper is employed but a light support when the house is full would be much appreciated. Please note that, you are responsible for the cleaning and maintaining your space, including your laundry
-During term time, help is usually needed a few hours during the week, often mornings or after 6 pm (to be confirmed).

SCHEDULE AND COMMUNICATION:
-Dates and times will always be confirmed by the Principal’s Private PA at least one week in advance, except in the case of an emergency.
-Overnight presence from 6 pm onwards during school holidays is non-negotiable.

TH E IDEAL PERSON:
Responsible, discreet, and trustworthy
Friendly, proactive, and comfortable with dogs ( they may want to sleep with you occasionally)
Available for at least one year
No guests allowed
Must provide excellent references, passport, and CV
DBS check will be carried out
