I am at home a fair amount when I'm painting (artist) so security is good here. One son is still home, 20 this summer, doing Law and Anthropology at LSE. He's usually busy studying, doing a job or playing basketball. He's very personable and intelligent. Sunny and pleasant to live around. We're into music, fashion, film, reading, good food, nature, family, sports.

Members of the household tend to have busy lives but enjoy meeting in the kitchen/dining room area or garden once it's warm. Up for a chat if it suits. Sometimes we've arranged house stuff together if it seems appropriate but no pressure. We like to come home to a supportive set up. It''s not a big party house but we are friendly and enjoy having people around.

As it's a big house, each room can be nicely private.

We have really nice neighbours and it's a community minded road to live on. We've lived here for 17 years and it's a great base for London life without paying the very high rates in the centre.

Good transport hub for exploring:
Harlesden Station is 6-10 mins, Bakerloo line and mainline to Euston.
18 bus at end of road, also 206, 224, then 260, 266 v nearby.
Overland train links from Willesden Junction.
Euston station overland directly from Harlesden station is 23 mins.
Harlesden station to Oxford Circus station 24 mins (12 stops bakerloo line)
12-15 mins drive to Portobello road outside rush hour.
Keen bicycle riders ******canal bike lane, 2 minutes away, into town, is a beautiful ride.
Good access to motorways M40, M1, M25

We like a friendly, intelligent and considerate environment and have had very happy experiences in the past with lodgers and we look forward to meeting new people.
