Hi! We are looking for two housemates to join our friendly house. Our current housemates - a couple we’ve lived with for several years - are off to travel the world for a bit.

There are two rooms available. Both rooms are southeast facing, looking onto our large garden.

The first room is on the middle floor. It is 15m2, ample space for a double bed and is furnished with a ornamental fire place plus two large sash windows.

The second room is on the top floor. It is 12 m2, with enough space to fit a double bed and a chest of drawers and has a built in cupboard and shelves and another ornamental fireplace.

SpareRoom limits the number of photos so it’s hard to accurately depict how massive and lovely the house is! It covers 4 floors…

We are two minutes from Haringay Station, and about 15 from Finsbury Park Station. Which also puts us in the middle of Finsbury Park, delicious bakeries, food shops, pubs, coffee places and bottle shops.

We share a large kitchen/dining room where we often cook, have meals together and collaborate on emptying the wine rack.

There’s a living room with sofas and a big tv where we binge tv together in the winter months. There’s also a home office that we all share - there’s plenty of space for people to work from home!

There’s a big and bright bathroom on the 1st floor, and a large utility room and toilet in the basement.

We are a pretty social house but there is no commitment to being that. But we are good mates, were all locked down together without maiming each other, hang out when we do (both at home and at the pub, gigs, festivals etc) and do our own thing when we don’t.

The house has four bedrooms in total. Two of the rooms are available. The other two rooms are taken by Clare from Bristol and Tom from Wales - we’ve now lived together here for three years.

We predominantly work in the office, though sometimes work from home. Our jobs are in the fields of politics and architecture.

Between us, we love to cook, eat, read, watch films, cycle, run, visit galleries, play music, relax in in our garden and discuss the world in big and small ways. We take time to keep the house tidy and and do not have a cleaner - it’s important to us that people moving in are up for doing their part!

If you think that you are a good fit then please give us a shout. We are looking to do viewings on the 8th, 9th and possibly the 10th and 11th.

Move in is available from the 1st of July, with the first full rent payable from the 10th July.

Bills are typically £170.00-180.00 - we’ve hoping this will decrease soon due to a brand new efficient boiler!
