Double Room Available in Friendly Home

We're all busy professionals with different routines, so while we're rarely all in the house at the exact same time, we love catching up when our paths cross. We're looking for a social, independent housemate who is up for a chat, a pub trip, or a cozy night in - rather than someone looking for a room to just hide away in

THE HOUSE

The room is furnished (or can be unfurnished if you have your own stuff) and a good size. The rest of the house has a nice communal lounge, kitchen (with cooker, fridge and washing machine), a large garden/jungle, and a decent sized bathroom with bath/shower.

We also have a regular fortnightly cleaner and broadband.

WHO ARE WE?

Anisha: Cook, popcorn enthusiast, and leopard print lover

​Meg: Performer, free spirit, and busy doing a very impressive science Master's

​Palmer: Chilled-out football fan with a great laugh who loves a night out

​Tim: Actor, avid movie watcher, and runner always training for an event

LOCATION

A great pub at the end of the road, and loads more in Manor House/Finsbury park, plus all the Turkish restaurants you could need.

It's nice and safe, none of us have ever had any trouble.

5 mins to Tesco express. 10-15 mins from a massive Sainsbury's.

There are two gyms within 10 mins, and about 20 takeaways to undo all the hard work.

TRANSPORT

Harringay train station is one stop from Finsbury park, which serves the Piccadily and Victoria lines.

The train also runs right across to Old Street which is about 25 mins.

You can walk to Manor House in about 15 mins which serves the Piccadily.

There is also an overground station on Green Lanes that will take you to Gospel Oak for changes there.

There are a fair few buses. Camden is about 25 mins away.
Night buses back from central are easy enough, the number 29 stops just up the road.

If you're in east you have to change at Kings Cross or Camden, but from there it's a doddle.

BILLS

The rent is only £570 but with bills it is £690 approx in total for everything. Electric (smart meter), Gas, TV and cleaner.

We have standing order to send money to the house account and money is used for bills from there. On occasion, we might need to top up this up £10 or so with fluctuating bills through the seasons but not a common occurance.

THE ROOM

The double room is downstairs and faces the garden so it is quiet. Spacious with high ceilings and a built in double clothes rail. The room currently has a mezzanine bed, bookshelf & kallax shelf. The yellow armchair pictured is not included. All furniture can also be removed.
