1 room in 2 bed flat on the Harringay Ladder

A 2 bedroom first floor flat on a quiet street on the Harringay Ladder. The room is a medium size with a nice big window, and comes furnished with a bed frame and mattress, wardrobe and two small shelving units. We have a lovely light filled living room with a dining table, couch and a TV. The kitchen is petite but room enough for two (depending how chefly you are) and the shared bathroom comes with a bathtub, large cabinet each, window and heated towel rack.

We’re extremely lucky with a very reasonable and easy-going Landlord, and the downstairs neighbours are a delight. The street generally has a welcoming community feeling. We have a Tesco express at the end of the road (2min walk) and a big Sainsbury’s further up the road (12min walk). The Green Lanes high street has incredible Turkish food, nice cafes (Dusty Knuckle), pubs and independent grocers (Harringay Local Store). My favourite is a little wine bar called Bonne Route on a leafy street next to Harringay station.

For transport links we have the Piccadilly line from Turnpike Lane (10min walk), which gets you to the Victoria line at Finsbury Park in two stops. We also have Haringey Green Lanes overground which runs between Gospel Oak (Parliament Hill lido in the summer ❤️) and Barking, and the Greater Northern train from Harringay station. We also get the 29, 141 & 341 buses from the end of the street (1 min walk) which are useful for Stokey, Dalston, Camden, Shoreditch, London Bridge and more.

About me - I’m an early 30’s female working as a stylist, originally from Australia. I’ve lived in London over 6 years now and have lived in the flat for 4. It’s somewhere I have really enjoyed as a quieter alternative to east London and for the community vibe in the area.
