Room + Office in a friendly home - Haringey

Hiya!

I live with 2 friends (a couple) but they're leaving to buy a flat (jealous).

Having said that, this flat is lovely and I want to stay on! The bedroom is a good size overlooking the downstairs garden and canal at the back (v pretty).

There is also your own small office room on the other side of the flat, which is included in the tenancy for your sole use. My housemate is a big gamer so had a whole set up in there, but you can adapt it for working from home or any other projects you have!

The living room is very spacious, there's a pull out sofa (if you ever have friends/family staying they are welcome to kip on it). There's also a dining table that extends out if you want to host a larger dinner.

The landlord is great (probably the best I've ever had, and I have met many now!). He's really responsive, and he is also a landlord for the downstairs neighbours that have lived here for 14 years. I get the impression he just wants his tenants to be happy.

We have very fast internet, lots of shelving and storage cupboards for things, lots of plants (although I'll need to get some new ones when my housemates take some with them). The corridor (I will try to get a picture up soon) is very bright as there is a skylight, that we sometimes open when it gets super hot. Currently we use a projector on a big blank wall for movies etc. I'm very open to making the home a vibe that suits both of us.

The flat is 15 mins from Turnpike Lane (Piccadilly line Zone 3, which takes you straight into central and connects well with Victoria). There is also Hornsey station which is about a 5 to 10 minute walk, connects you to places like Barbican, Highbury & Islington and Alexandra Palace.

You will be paying £1300 bills included.

About me - I'm 36, a gal, and have lived in London since I moved for uni. I'm easygoing (although all the usual stuff like cleaning and good communication is included in that). I can be quite social but also go through phases of doing my own thing. Current interests - nature, bouldering and working less :) I work as a Social Worker.
