Lovely home in Herne Hill

Hello!

We're, Harriett & Iga- looking for a new housemate (girls preferred please!) to join our cosy home in Herne Hill/North Dulwich.

We're two professionals (Iga works in publishing and Harriett is a copywriter) and we're looking for a considerate and professional third to share with.

We're social housemates, have busy days in the week and active weekends but do enjoy sharing the occasional dinner, sofa-time, a glass of wine or a night out when we can or even just grabbing a tea for catch-up chats in the kitchen when we can.

Some of our collective interests include travelling , cooking, cycling, gigs, swimming, making the most of London's great restaurants, painting, theatres, cinemas & gardening.

The house is in a gorgeous leafy street, with a patio and back garden (you'll need to be a bit green fingered to live here). There's a small spare room upstairs too which is great for extra storage, drying clothes / ironing etc.

Bills come to about £100 each per month.

The available room is the upstairs at the back of the house so looks out onto our garden. The room gets the light in the morning and is bright and airy. The room comes with a wardrobe and (Alex our house mate who is leaving would be happy to sell the bed and mattress to you for £100 she brought it new when she moved in)

The house originally came unfurnished but has pretty much collected what it needs over the years. With the departure of our housemate we’ll need to replenish a few bits and pieces together but nothing too mega so it’s just bedroom furniture you’ll really need.

We're a 10-minute walk to Herne Hill station, from where it's 9 mins to Victoria or 22 mins to St Pancras International. It's a 5-minute walk to North Dulwich, from where it's 14mins into London Bridge, or 2 mins to Peckham Rye to jump on the overland to East London. Lots of buses too!

Sought-after Herne Hill has a farmers market on Sundays, various places to eat and drink, and the gorgeous Brockwell Lido, but we can also be in Brixton in minutes on the no. 37 bus even more options! Camberwell, Peckham, Dulwich centres are all within walking distances too.

We are flexible in terms of a move in date anytime between now and January 8th 2022 as our current housemate Alex is moving in with her boyfriend so can move is flexible.
