Friendly Flat - Brixton/Herne Hill - Single Room

We are looking for a fourth person to join our lovely flat from 8 June 2024 until our lease ends on 31 July 2024.

8 WEEK LET - shorter lets welcome

Our flatmate Sara is moving out due to work, and we are looking forward to hosting someone before our lease expires! Landlady is sadly taking back the flat to renovate it, so no extension possible.

This is a 3 bedroom groundfloor flat including a spacious living and dining room, kitchen with modern finishes, one bathroom, as well as a large garden (with a vegetable garden, a BBQ and a chill out deck) and a small basement.

The room is small with a single bed, one tall double wardrobe, a built-in desk space, and storage under the bed.

We are Erin, Jon, and Fil - we're a queer friendly flat, have been living here for the last year, and are all very easy-going. Fil is a legal aid solicitor who loves going to stand-up comedy, organising friend dinners, and exploring London's rave scene. Erin and Jon are a travel-loving couple who work for a homelessness charity and the local council.

We are looking for a friendly person who ideally enjoys sharing with people and doing things together but also likes their own space. We enjoy having a drink together in the evenings, going to the pub and occasionally throwing a dinner or BBQ party, yet we also keep busy with our own lives. If that sounds like you, get in touch!

The house is a 3-min walk from Loughborough Junction, 10-min walk from Denmark Hill, and 15-min walk to Brixton or Herne Hill stations. We are also a 5-min walk from Ruskin Park where you can enjoy a drink at sunset with a nice view of the city, about 15-min walk Brockwell Park and Herne Hill village which has a Sunday farmer’s market and lots of little independent shops & pubs. Dulwich village & park are also not far away!

The bills are around £100 and include fibre broadband with Virgin, gas & electricity, water, and council tax Band C.
