Hey, We’re Jen, Jake and James! We are looking for a new housemate to join us in our lush Herne Hill flat from 14th June.

The Flat
We have a double room available costing £736.50 per month including bills. The room has big Victorian ceilings, big windows with amazing sunshine like the rest of the flat.
We have a good sized kitchen, a huge separate living room, one bathroom with a bath and a separate second toilet. The balcony off the kitchen has fantastic views of Brockwell Park and London, and gets the sun all afternoon all summer. We also have access to the communal garden to the rear, however with our very close proximity to Brockwell Park it is hardly needed.
The price shown covers bills for gas/electric, internet, Sky tv, council tax and water.
Us
We’re all early 30's professionals, considerate and sociable with busy London lives but enjoy a relaxed atmosphere at home, good chats, cups of tea, occasional movie night/flat dinner and all love a trip to the pub.
Jake is our South Welshman. He works at Unilever and is getting his coffee business off the ground! So you can always expect freshly brewed cold brew in the fridge! When he's not brewing coffee, you can find him checking out London gigs, exploring the city and loves cooking. He also loves a Brockwell Parkrun and is looking for a running partner..
Jen is our Yorkshire lass who works in TV and film. Always up for a laugh and loves occasional day trips in her car. When she's not working, she'll be socialising with her friends, long walks in the park and knocking up a treat in the kitchen.
James is our north Welshman, working at Shell. When he isn't playing football or running on the weekends he is exploring new bars and restaurants and other fun things to do.
If you have any similar hobbies/views to those above we're sure we'll get on fine!

Looking for someone who would love to come and live here not just for the roof over their heads but to spend time in a lovely, homey flat and take advantage of the awesome parks/pubs/shops nearby, and of course the stellar resident housemates. We'd like someone we can hang out with as well as someone who can pitch in with the cleaning etc!
Location
Not as well known as our eclectic Brixton neighbour, Herne Hill borders Brixton, giving us all the benefits of the nightlife and culture but less drunk people on our doorstep at 4am.
Location wise the flat is just minutes to Herne Hill station, which has overground to Victoria (10 mins), Brixton (3 mins), Blackfriars (11mins), St Pancras (25mins) and beyond. Brixton tube (Victoria line) is only 15-20 min walk away and has the night tube on weekends. We're well serviced with buses and night buses, 37 to Peckham - Putney round the corner and the 68 to Euston just outside.
Across the road is Brockwell park, the Lido and gym, four great local pubs (all with great beer gardens) and two local breweries for beer lovers. Herne Hill has a great Sunday market and local shops include a local butchers, green grocers, Tesco express and Sainsbury’s Local just out the door and a larger Sainsbury’s 10 minutes away. As mentioned before Brixton is also nearby for a diverse range of food, drink, shopping and dancing to meet your needs.
