Hey everyone! ✨
I’m moving out of my room in Dorchester Court, Herne Hill, and looking for someone to take it from around 16th March (with some flexibility)

Rent: £452
Bills: approx. £70 per month (we have a spreadsheet that everyone can access)
Rent is paid directly to the main tenant, who then sends it to the landlord.

We have a really strong tenants union and community vibe on the court, with annual summer parties and events held.
It’s a 4-bed flat shared with three lovely POC flatmates (1 non-binary person, 1 woman, 1 man, aged 27–32) who work in the arts. They’re super welcoming and enjoy watching movies together, listening to music, and having flat dinners, but are also very respectful of personal space and downtime. One of the current tenants have been here around 5 years, so it has been a real long-term home.

The flat is located the second floor of the building (with lift access) and has secure buzzer/intercom entry. The flat itself is all on one level, with a separate toilet and bath/shower. There’s also a large balcony (accessed through one of the flatmate’s rooms).

The room is on the smaller side. It’s unfurnished, but it will come with the bed frame I installed when I moved in. I may be taking my mattress (as it’s mine), but I’m open to offers if you’d like it. I’m also open to offers on any other furniture in the room. There are some shelves I installed that I can leave or take depending on your choice

Location wise, It’s about a 10-minute walk to Herne Hill and North Dulwich stations, plus there’s a bus stop right nearby. Denmark Hill is around 15 minutes walk. Brockwell Park is also around 10 minutes away, and Ruskin park is less than 5 minutes away, so there’s loads of green space close by 🍃

Accessibility:
There is a lift in the building and the flat is on the 2nd floor. Please note there are two small steps at the front entrance of the building.
Other details:
– No deposit
– No pets
– No smokers please
– We're looking for a long term flatmate (at least 1 year).
Feel free to message me if you’re interested or have any questions!
