Double bedroom available in a lovely, relaxed flatshare with 3 others (1 woman and 2 men) in beautiful Herne Hill.

Herne Hill is in Zone 2, right next to Dulwich Village and around a 20 minute walk from Brixton. It is a really safe, welcoming area with a great community feel. Everything you need is on your doorstep including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, independent shops, cafes, a nail salon and Brockwell Park just a short stroll away.

Herne Hill station is a 2 minute walk from the house and has direct Thameslink services (to London Blackfriars, Farringdon, St Pancras and beyond) as well as Southeastern trains into London Victoria. Brixton is also close by for the Victoria line, making it easy to get into central. For example, Oxford Circus is about 35 minutes door to door (20 minute walk to Brixton and 15 minute tube).

The flat itself is the top floor of a large house split into three flats. It is a little lived-in but very loved, clean, and fully functional. The household is easygoing, sociable but respectful of space. The landlord is great too, responsive and easy to deal with when anything needs fixing.

The room is a bright double with beautiful natural light throughout the day and plenty of space for a desk if you work from home.

Gas: £56 per month
Council tax + WiFi: £66 per month

We do not currently have a cleaner, but we have discussed getting one, so it would be ideal if you would be open to contributing a small amount monthly for that.

Move-in date:
From 10th May (ideally after 3pm, as I will be moving out earlier that day)
