Double Room available in Herne Hill/Brixton

Double room available in a 2-bed house on quiet and friendly family street mid-way between Herne Hill and Brixton. Each station is a 5-10min walk away and the 322 bus stops approx 100m away

The room is a double and comes furnished - although bed linen isn't provided. The shared bathroom is pretty big and comes with a bath and shower. The living room and kitchen are shared as well.

I have two cats and I work from home a lot and sometimes from the office when I get a gig as a freelance Producer/Director making documentaries.

I'm sociable, friendly and independent. I often stay at my girlfriend's a few nights a week and when I'm away a close friend from Brighton stays in my room when he has work in London.

I have put down a two-week deposit but I am happy to negotiate as the right person is more important. Ideally, that person would be fairly independent, easy-going, sociable and like cats! I'm looking for someone who understands how to be clean and tidy as I've found that not everyone does!

My lodger agreements include using the 1st month as a trial after which either party can give 1 month's notice. If it all works out I have no min or max length of stay but will stipulate a month's notice before moving out

I'm not keen on couples or someone whose partner is going to come and stay several days a week
