Great value single room with large window, in our cosy, quiet Highgate home on a leafy, green, quiet street, with a big garden.

It's an amazing location; 5 minute walk to Highgate tube station and Highgate Wood, 10/15 minute walk to Archway/Crouch End/Muswell Hill/Hampstead Heath.
Can be in central London in just half an hour.

Room is £720 per month, and bills are roughly £146 (which includes council tax - Band D).
Available from July 27th.
Room was redecorated 2 years ago and fitted with a new carpet.

A bit about us -
We are Joe and Janey.
Joe, 40, works at the swimming ponds and is an Arabic translator, avid birdwatcher, nature photographer and hiker. He spends a lot of time reading.
Janey, 44, works as a mural artist and dogwalker. She enjoys doing hot yoga, spray painting at live events, and spending time in her art studio.

We both love music and cycling, and love travelling - when we get the chance!

We also both work on Hampstead Heath - it is just a stone's throw away.
We are queer friendly, and are fine with vegan or vegetarian cooking, and we like to cook and bake a lot.

A bit about the flat -
Our flat is not big so we do need to be very mindful of each other's schedules and keep noise down when needed. We are looking for someone who is very considerate seeing as the set up of the flat means we hear each other more than we probably should. (It was designed to be a two-bedroom flat but we share between three meaning there isn't a living room and our communal space is limited to the kitchen.)
It's not suitable for parties but we do sometimes watch movies together and have people round for dinner in our kitchen.
We also have a small jungle's worth of houseplants.

We have a nice community of neighbours in the building who are all friendly and respectful. It's a peaceful neighbourhood, and there is a beautiful shared garden, which feels very relaxing for a zone 3 flat. It's great for barbecues and picnics in the summer. Our flat has a carparking space in the garden which you can use when friends and family come to visit.
There is no smoking in the house.
LGBTQ welcome.

About the area -
There are a lot of great things we enjoy doing in the local area, such as comedy nights at the Boogaloo, film and music at Highgate Society, Jackson's Lane Theatre and the Crouch End Picture house. Not to mention endless charity shops and cafes.
