About the flat & location:

We’re based in a lovely, quiet part of Highgate. It’s a leafy neighborhood with great parks, pubs, and coffee shops nearby, conveniently split about a 10-minute walk from both Crouch End and Highgate High Street. Transport links are great—we're very close to the tube, there are always e-bikes nearby, and it’s only about 20 minutes on the Northern Line to King’s Cross or Tottenham Court Road.

The flat has a shared kitchen and bathroom, alongside a shared garden out back. There is no communal living room, but the neighbors are very quiet, making it a peaceful place if you need to work from home.

About the room:

The room comes furnished with a double bed, with space for a desk and a dresser, so it’s well set up for working from home. Because it faces north, it stays pleasantly cool through the warmer summer months. It also has a lovely view overlooking our shared garden, which is filled with mature trees, lots of greenery, and spring flowers.

Why the room is available:

Our current flatmate is moving out after three great years here to move in with his partner, so we're looking for someone new to take his spot!

Who you’ll be living with:

You’ll be living with two full-time professionals: one working in an art gallery (in the office most days) and one working as a buyer for WHSmith (hybrid working). We’re definitely not a late-night party house—it’s a calm, relaxed environment, though we do love a pub trip every now and then. We cook quite a bit and are always up for a catch-up in the kitchen.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re hoping to find someone friendly and considerate who is "on it" with the day-to-day essentials—keeping the kitchen clean, chipping in with the bins, and helping keep the shared spaces tidy. We’re very respectful of downtime, but friends are always welcome over (we just give each other a quick heads-up if it's a bigger group).
