Double room in modern flat in Archway

Hi! My name is Ollie and I am a tenant at First Floor Flat, 134 Archway Road, N6 .

I have lived here for almost a year with my current flatmate, who will be moving out in late-August so he can head home to Birmingham for a while. I plan to stay in London for now so will continue the tenancy and am therefore looking for someone to take his room.

The property is great, with a large kitchen (including a kitchen table) and living room, a shared bathroom, plus two medium sized double bedrooms. It's about 10 minutes walk to Archway or Highgate stations, and very close to Waterlow Park (hidden gem in London), and a variety of cool pubs and restaurants.

The bedroom which will be available includes a desk with drawers, plus a large wardrobe with a lot of storage space. A new tenant would need to provide a bedframe and mattress though.

I work in International Development/Aid so I travel to Ukraine, Jordan and sometimes other countries periodically. When in London (most of the time), I work from home 3 days a week, and from my office two days. I would ideally be looking for someone who also works at least partly out of the house, so we each have our own space and some time alone in the flat. But I can still be flexible if someone primarily works from home.

In terms of interests, I love music and play in a funk/soul band. I do play/practice a little bit at home but nothing too loud or too late!
I also enjoy travelling, cooking, hanging out in pubs, fitness, and football/tennis among other things.

As for a flatmate, it would be great to have someone who likes to socialise but also values their own time/space.

In addition to rent, the bills are roughly £210 a month each and the Council Tax Band is C, within Haringey Borough.

Ideally I am looking for someone who can move in between early-mid September.
