Hi!!

I have been living at Stanhope Gardens with my two friends for a year now and we love our home. Unfortunately, both of my friends are moving in with their respective partners and so I’m looking for replacements. I would say that the biggest perk of living in this apartment is the light. The living room, kitchen, and smaller bedroom have large windows that are east facing and get morning light. The two larger bedrooms are west facing and get afternoon light. The apartment is surrounded by trees which makes the view from all windows green year round.

The smaller bedroom (£975) shares a bathroom with one other (me) and the larger bedroom (£1295) has a large en-suite with a shower/sink/toilet.

We have our own garden separate from the first floor flat that is at the back of the property. It has a built in red brick barbecue that we have gotten great use out of this summer! We have tomatoes and herbs growing as well :)

The bedrooms are unfurnished so you will need to bring your own bed and wardrobe. The living room is furnished with a table, couch, tv, lamp, and armchair. The couch will be getting an upgrade very soon (before you move in)!

The flat is very well located. We are a 10m walk from High Gate station (northern line). We are a 5min walk from both a Sainsbury’s and a Coop and a 15m walk from Crouch End high street (Waitrose/Tesco). We are just off the parkland walk (closest entrance at the bottom of the street - 2m walk) which is such a delight for runners/walkers and will bring you easily all the way to Finsbury Park station. Local bars: boogaloo, the wrestlers, the queens. Other nearby attractions: Crouch End arthouse theatre, high gate cemetery, Hampstead heath (ponds), waterlowe park (pétanque).

A little on me: I grew up in Brussels as part of an expat family. I am a native English speaker (mum’s Irish, dad’s American). I work as a computational biologist at the Francis Crick Institute near King’s Cross. I love my work but have also picked up some hobbies - the newest is a part-time carpentry course and I love to watch tv and make good food!

Please send a message with a brief intro and which room you would be interested in renting. I will schedule viewings with people individually.
