Bright Double Room in Friendly 2-Bed Flat

I'm looking for a new flatmate to share my bright, modern two-bedroom flat from 1st October.

Ideally, I'd love to share with another woman, but I'm open to hearing from anyone who feels they'd be a good fit.

You'll be sharing with me – I'm a teacher who enjoys having a friendly, relaxed home. I'm always happy to have a chat or share the occasional dinner or film night, but I also value having time to myself.

The available room is a bright double with a comfortable bed and wardrobe.

The flat is bright and modern, with a spacious living room, open-plan kitchen, a shared bathroom, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

Location:

The flat is on a side street just off Holloway Road and has lots of transport options.

Piccadilly line – around 12 minutes' walk
Northern line – around 15 minutes' walk
Victoria line – around 17 minutes' walk
Several bus routes within a minute's walk

The area has plenty of great cafés, pubs, restaurants and local shops, so everything you need is close by.

The current flatmate is moving out, so the successful applicant will be referenced by the letting agent and added to the tenancy from 1st October. I've lived here for several years, and both the landlord and letting agent have always been reliable, responsive and easy to deal with.

Bills are currently around £160 per month, covering electricity, water, council tax and internet.

Who I'm hoping to find:

More than anything, I'm looking for someone who wants this to feel like home rather than just somewhere to sleep. It would be great to find someone who is:

Friendly, considerate and easy-going
Reasonably tidy, especially in the shared spaces
Happy to have a chat or share the occasional dinner or film, while also respecting each other's space
Hoping to settle somewhere for the longer term, rather than treating it as a short stop
