A Room With A View

I have a lovely, comfortable room overlooking gardens and on a clear sunny day you can see the Shard and canary wharf. When the weather is sunny this room is flooded with light and sunrays. There is a double bed a tall wardrobe, a chest of drawer, a desk and a small coffee table. There is a wall fitted bookcase. The room is located on the second floor of the property. On the first floor, there is a living-room, large kitchen and large bathroom which has window giving direct access to the balcony and the garden. The kitchen has a washing machine, gas cooker, microwave and a small dining table and 2 chairs.
The flat is situated in the vibrant area of upper Holloway and Archway with excellent public transports, shops, supermarkets and parks : Highgate Wood and Waterloo park as well as the lovely parkland leading to Finsbury Park, 30 minutes away from the house.
I will be interested to rent the room initially for three months and then would consider renting longer term 6 months to one year to a suitable tenant.

I would like to share my house with a tenant who is considerate, quiet, clean, open minded with an international and progressive outlook. I am quiet, flexible and respect people's privacy.

This house is a very quiet house and will not be suitable for someone who is a party lover or wishing to receive lot of guests. Please note that I have a female cat aged 15. The cat is a well trained animal and has no access to bedrooms.

I would prefer someone who works outside of the house as I am semi-retired and spend much of my time indoors.
The lodger will have access to the kitchen and other communal area. However, there is no access to the living room. The lodger will only be sharing the communal areas such as the bathroom and the kitchen with myself the owner of the property.

Please note that I go away in the summer for few weeks and the prospective lodger will have the flat to himself/herself. I would also like ask the prospective lodger to look after my property and my cat whilst I am away.
I will also agree to rent it to a couple when I am away in the summer but the rent will be increased.
I am away from 5th July to 15 of September 2023.
The room will be available from 10th April 2023.
