Lovely Flat in Holloway Road

We are two female professionals looking for a third flatmate to join us in our bright and beautiful flat. A double bedroom is available from now (looking to fill it ASAP), with a large bathroom shared with just one other. The bedroom includes a double bed (including mattress) with space for storage underneath and a large double wardrobe. There is space for a large chest of drawers or a small desk. This bedroom faces into the courtyard, which means it is very peaceful and secure. The bathroom is spacious with storage and features a bath, standing shower, and a large mirror.

The three-bedroom flat has an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. There is also a balcony leading off this with glass double doors facing onto the courtyard, and a table and chairs to eat outside when it’s warmer. The flat is in a big complex with many additional and useful perks: concierge service, ASOS/Amazon deliveries have never been so easy, 24-hour security and CCTV so we always feel really safe here. There is shared parking space which neither of us have cars for, but we use for visitors, and concierge can also give additional visitor parking. There is also secure bike storage. Gym – it’s not Virgin but it has all the basic stuff you need.

Transport/amenities: we are a 2-minute walk from Holloway Road Station and around 10 minutes from Highbury & Islington. This means only 10 minutes from the amazing Upper Street – cue all the bars and restaurants you would ever need on one road – and 10 minutes from Highbury Fields. Shop-wise, we have a Tesco Express and Aldi Express on our road and a Morrisons and Waitrose are only 5–10 minutes away, alongside grocery stores and pharmacies. There are also lots of restaurants and cafés nearby.

Housemates: Freya, 28, works within the government foreign office, mixture of WFH and in the office. Eva, 29, works in finance and is in the office 3/4 days a week. Both have desks in their rooms, keeping the communal space for all.

About you: We are looking for someone friendly and sociable to join the home. You need to be clean, tidy and respectful of the house and your housemates. We have a nice home and enjoy socialising and having people over, but we do tend to keep the mad partying to outside the flat and keep the place nice and relaxing for all.
