Lovely double room in house share in Homerton

Our lovely housemate is moving in with her boyfriend :( so we have a spare room in our cosy 3 bed maisonette in Homerton, available from 23rd October 2026.

You will be taking over the contract and will be living with two lovely, relaxed guys (one male and one female).

THE FLAT:
The flat is a 5–10 minute walk away from Homerton Train Station and Victoria Park and 10 minute walk to Chatsworth Road with many nice cafes, pubs, restaurants nearby.
The flat has 3 floors which makes it feel much more spacious. We’re very lucky to have a balcony AND a garden. 1.5 bathrooms (full bathroom and then another water closet on the middle floor).
The flat is pretty old and has some wear and tear which adds character. Landlord has fixed a bunch of stuff in the past few months so it’s in great shape, but the rough and ready nature is reflected in the price of the room.

THE ROOM:
£730 plus bills (another ~£110). It's a small but cosy space on the top floor. It is unfurnished but comes with a double bed base and mattress, which lifts up for lots of under bed storage. The room fits storage and wardrobe furniture perfectly - basically everything but a desk.

US:
We are Adam and Eva, best friends that met 12 years ago at university! Both graphic designers with a super cute friendship group. We are often seen in the local area getting 12 pints or enjoying a coffee on Chatsworth Road, and we’d love you to join the fold.

ADAM:
I’m a 31 year old graphic designer, originally from the north west. Usually out most evenings and weekends busy doing whatever I’m into at the minute (running, climbing, cinema, gigs, watching sport, D&D, hanging with friends). I enjoy cooking and am always keen to watch a film/ tv show in the flat. Not a huge fan or horror but working on it with Eva…

EVA:
31 year old graphic designer and part time MA creative coding student so currently ferrying myself around London. Plays football twice a week, enjoys crime drama’s under a blanket, and hanging with friends. Huge horror fan and working on it with Adam…

YOU:
Ideally between 27-35. Sadly no couples or pets. A professional that’s either lived in London for a while or has established roots. Preferably a girl but open for discussion if the person is right. LGBT friendly is a must.
The room/flat is small, so we both work in the studio 99% of the time. We'd prefer you to also work from an office or space most of the time so that home stays home. However we can assess this if the person is right. We’d love to be able to watch tv/films, cook together, but also have a balance to live our individual lives.
