Hello!
I’m looking for somebody to move in with me and my little dog, Goose in July.
I LOVE the flat so am staying on in the slightly smaller bedroom.
Ideally looking for somebody easy going who would see having a resident dog as a bonus rather than a pain in the backside. I am v happy doing my own thing but also very up for having a glass of wine or watching some crap TV in the evening together. Hopefully you can feel really happy and at home here.
Keeping the flat clean is pretty easy, would be great if you’re into keeping it clean too!
The flat is super light and bright. Open plan kitchen/living area with telly and wrap around balcony giving views all around. There are two bathrooms, one en-suite (yours!). We are on the second floor and there is lift access. The neighbours are mainly young families and are super lovely. There’s a real community feel to the place.
The bedroom is a large double with direct access onto wraparound flat balcony. It has an en-suite with bath and a big ole mirrored wardrobe for storage. Furniture not included: extra storage and bedside tables.
I work 9-5 in the NHS so am out the flat weekdays. I’ve got a dog sitter for Goose who comes and checks in. Weekday evenings I usually do a bit of work, walk the dog and chill in front of the TV. I’m usually out and about seeing friends with the Goosenator at the weekend.
Goose is a 9 year old fluffball who spends most her time sleeping close to the nearest human. She is more a cat than a dog who hates walking, is a bit of a wimp and wants to be on a soft blanket or being cuddled as much as she can.
No dog care expected!! But if you work from home, Goose might ask to be pet a few times throughout the day.
Perks: free gym, sauna and steam room on the doorstep. Communal roof terrace with views of Alexandra Palace (great with friends on fireworks night!)
Huge wrap around balcony with lots of space to grow potted plants.
Smart TV - feel free to add a Netflix account
We live by the river which is lovely all year round with ducks, swans, and a Heron who hangs out there.
If you love dogs, Goose is very up for cuddles on the sofa.
Nearest Supermarket: Big Sainsbury’s 3 minute walk around the corner
Tubes and Trains: 5 min walk to Hornsey Rail Station
12 min walk to Turnpike Lane (Piccadilly line)
Greenery: Huge Ally Pally park is right on our doorstep. Also 10 min walk to Priory Park.
Council Tax band D - currently £95 each per month
Bills not included. Water and service charge covered by landlord. Wi-Fi £13 each/month, electricity ~£75 each per month.
I think that’s it but send me over any questions! Can be flexible a week or two before July 10th if needed.
Cheers
