We are looking for someone who enjoys a similar lifestyle — considerate, tidy, respectful and financially reliable, with care for the home and the surrounding neighbours.

There will be only one lodger, so this is not a typical busy house share. You will have the advantage of sharing a large home with plenty of space, while still having your own private bedroom and bathroom.

We enjoy a friendly atmosphere, but also value privacy and quiet time. This is not a party house, and we would particularly suit someone who appreciates a peaceful and well-kept home.

Rent & terms

£1,700 pcm — bills included

One person only — no couples.

We are ideally looking for a minimum 6-month stay, with longer-term arrangements particularly welcome.

Shorter stays may be considered at a higher monthly rate:

* 1 month — £2,200 pcm
* 2 months — £2,100 pcm
* 3–5 months — £1,900 pcm

Basic referencing, proof of identity/right to rent and proof of income or funding will be required.

A few house expectations

We simply ask that shared spaces are treated with the same care and consideration you would reasonably expect from others.

* Friends are welcome to visit occasionally, but please let us know beforehand.
* Overnight guests are limited to up to 2 nights per month.
* No couples or regular overnight guests.
* No loud parties, out of consideration for our neighbours.
* Keep shared areas clean and tidy after use.
* Clean kitchen surfaces and appliances after cooking.
* Wash, dry and put away dishes, or use the dishwasher.
* Don’t leave food or rubbish around.
* Wipe up spills promptly.
* Empty bins when full.
* Don’t leave laundry sitting in the washing machine.
* Keep the utility room tidy.
* Clean up after using the balcony or terrace.

In short: enjoy the home and its facilities, while being considerate of the people around you.
