Bright Double Room in Islington

Hi there! My lovely flatmate is moving back home, so her bright and spacious double room is becoming available in our lovely 2-bed flat. The flat has a separate kitchen, one bathroom and a spacious living room, with some beautiful sunsets to enjoy too. The location is great (also with some beautiful sunsets!). Near Essex Rd station: and a ~12 mins walk from Highbury-Islington station, ~13 mins walk from Angel station, we are very lucky to have incredible cafes, restaurants, pubs, wine bars etc and the De Beauvoir only 10 minutes away.

🛏️ The room
The room comes furnished with a bed and wardrobe. The desk can either be removed or purchased from my flatmate if you would like to keep it. The rest of the flat is furnished with the essentials, although my flatmate will be taking or selling some of the shared furniture, including the dining table, rug and coffee table. So, if you have a few bits of your own, that would be a bonus!

💷 Rent & move in date
Rent: £1,275 per month, plus bills (utilities and council tax)
- Available from: 13 December
- As the move in date falls outside our usual rent cycle, the first month's rent will be prorated and paid directly to my flatmate.

Who I’m looking for and about me:

I’m originally from Sweden and have been living in London for 8 years. I work in marketing in London Bridge and work from home two days a week. Outside of work I go to the gym, socialise with friends, cooking, go for a nice meal/drinks or for a coffee walk on the weekend. But I’m also valuing a quiet night at home watching some movies or series. The flat is clean, relaxed, and ideal for a female professional (25+) looking for a comfortable home base. Bonus if you’re up for the occasional wine night, watching movies in our cozy living room or a weekend brunch.

2-minute walk to Essex Road station
12-minute walk to Highbury & Islington station
13-minute walk to Angel station
Around 10 minutes to De Beauvoir, with its lovely cafés, brunch spots and independent shops.

There are also plenty of great pubs, restaurants and wine bars nearby, so you are never short of somewhere to go for a coffee, dinner or drinks.
