I'm looking for someone to take the spare room in my flat on Queensland Road — the new building right by the Emirates. It's set back far enough from the main road that the loudest thing you'll hear most evenings is the kettle.

The flat

Modern, properly quiet, and well looked after — I'm tidy without being precious about it. The building comes with a 24/7 concierge (parcels signed for, no more chasing missed deliveries), secure bike storage, and a residents' gym downstairs, so you can cancel the membership. There's also an optional garage parking space if you drive.

Getting around — honestly the thing that sold me on this place:

Drayton Park — 3 min walk. Direct to Moorgate in about 10 minutes, so Liverpool Street and the City are on your doorstep.
Holloway Road (Piccadilly) — 7 min walk. Straight through to King's Cross, the West End, and Heathrow with no changes.
Highbury & Islington — 12 min walk. Victoria line and Overground.

Plus every bus going down Holloway Road, and Upper Street's restaurants within walking distance.

About me

I'm 25, Italian, and work in finance. I'm in the office four days a week and away travelling most weekends, so the flat is quiet and often entirely yours. When I'm home I cook a lot, properly, and you're welcome to whatever's on the stove, train regularly, and tinker with tech.

What I'm after is the middle ground: not a party flat, but not a place where flatmates pass each other in silence either. I respect people's space and their evenings. Equally, I'd like a home where a coffee and a chat in the kitchen on a Sunday morning feels natural rather than awkward. Considerate and communicative goes a long way.
