Lovely Double Room for rent in Islington Townhouse

A lovely, spacious double bedroom on the top floor of a beautiful Islington townhouse on Cross Street, Islington.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, desk and drawers, so it’s ready to move straight into. You’ll be sharing a large bathroom with one of the other girls living in the house.

The house itself is set across the first, second and third floors of a traditional Islington townhouse and is in an amazing location right in the heart of Islington. Cross Street is a really desirable part of Islington with lots of independent shops, cafés, restaurants and bars on the doorstep as well as plenty of green space nearby. Upper street is just round the corner and the canal is also within easy walking distance.

Transport links are brilliant - roughly a 10 minute walk both to Angel and Highbury & Islington stations.

You’ll be living with three women - Claire, Christina and Plum, all in their late 20s / early 30s and work full time in London.

The house has a really nice balance of being sociable and friendly while everyone also has their own lives and independence. We’ll often catch up in the kitchen or living room, have a glass of wine together or head out for an occasional drink / dinner but equally, everyone appreciates having their own space and time to decompress after work. It’s definitely not a party house but it’s also not somewhere where everyone disappears into their bedrooms!

We’re looking for someone with a similar vibe to take over my room - ideally someone friendly, sociable and considerate who wants to feel at home in the house rather than simply renting a room but who is also clean and respectful of everyone’s space.

Everyone is really easy-going and the house has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere so finding someone who fits in well with the existing dynamic is really important to us. We’d love to meet anyone who thinks they’d be the right fit.

I’m only moving out after two wonderful years because I’m moving in with my partner, so I’d really love to find someone lovely to take my place!
