Hey there!! I am looking for a replacement flatmate as my friend will move soon to her family's house in the second week of July. (11th)
About the flat:
The flat is spacious and full of character; it is a half-furnished flat. My flatmate has put a lot of care and effort into furnishing the flat, so we’re looking for someone who’d be happy to ideally purchase some of her furniture when moving in, although she's more flexible with this.
As for the flat, we have cared for all the details of this property for the past year, putting our architectural touch on it. I'd like to preserve the peaceful, respectful vibe we've built, but I'm genuinely open to fresh ideas and new perspectives. I want this to be a home, not just a flat.
The flat is a gem, well-located and full of activities happening around this area. The property has a beautiful main entrance and a spacious service entrance in the back. The flat also counts with a large living room, a big well-equipped kitchen, 2 double rooms, 1 small room (ideally for office), 1 bathroom, storage space out of the flat and space to store bicycles.
Your private space:
Your private space includes one of the double bedrooms plus the dedicated office room, both fully yours. Rent: £1,400/month | Bills: approximately £180/month (varies seasonally)
About me:
I'm David Torres, a 30yr old Colombian architect working in tech (weird combo) I work from home three days a week and am totally fine with flatmates doing the same; we have plenty of space. I'm easygoing, considerate, and genuinely respect shared spaces. My current flatmate and I have built something really good here through communication and care. We keep the flat in excellent condition and try to maintain a peaceful, respectful atmosphere.
I'm looking for someone who sees this as a home, not just a place to sleep. If you value good communication and taking care of your surroundings the way I do, we'll get on well
About my hobbies: I like cooking, gym, music, festivals, photography, tech and art.
What I am looking for a flatmate:
I'm looking for a professional who's reliable and genuinely cares about shared spaces. If you're the type who'd rather have an honest conversation than let tensions build, we'll work well together.
Things I love about this Area:
Full of pubs and restaurants but enough isolated to be in a quiet residential area
5 mins' walk to away to Tesco Express
10 mins' walk to Big Tesco
10 mins' walk to Kennington Station (Very handy station since it splits trains to Charing Cross or Bank)
15 mins' Walk to Vauxhall (Tube station connected with Victoria and National Train Station)
20 mins' walk to Vauxhall Pier (Handy for Uber Boat)
20 mins' walk to the Westminster (Beautiful walk towards the Big Ben and the National Theatre by the river)
