Bright & peaceful double room in Kensington

Lovely bright double room in a peaceful and calm flatshare in the heart of Kensington. The flat is at the top of a period town-house (on the 5th floor so ideally you really enjoy climbing stairs!). There's a great view out of the bedrooms to the rear, and the living room to the front (which has a plant filled balcony overlooking the beautiful garden square outside).

The flat is a bit of a retreat from the noise of London, with the rustle of leaves and birds singing in the trees outside, but is also incredibly close to zone 1 transport, the vibrant shopping of High Street Kensington and some large supermarkets. It has double glazing, good central heating, and a nice hot shower too.

As you might have gathered, it is not really a party place, more of a reading/gardening/occasional-good-natured-conversation-if-we-both-happen-to-be-in type of home. I'm looking for a sharer who is independent, but straightforward, honest and friendly. Ideally you are 30+, but definitely not younger than 28 please!

Ideally would prefer a female (but house-proud males are fine).
I don’t eat meat or drink alcohol, but don't mind if you do (in moderation obviously!) Flat decor is 'characterful', but you are welcome to add your own touch to it if you are planning on staying a while. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a homely living room and a maturing balcony garden with spaces for contemplation.

Quiet & safe area and very quick to get into central London. Underground is 3 mins walk and a vast network of buses all around.
