Sunny double room in book-filled home

A bright, comfortable double room in a warm, book-filled flat in Kingsbury. The room has plenty of natural light and flexible furnishings. Including a memory foam futon that doubles as a sofa, giving you options depending on how you like to use the space. A chest of drawers and bookcases can be moved out if you'd prefer more room. The flat has a calm, creative atmosphere, with lots of books, paintings and houseplants, and access to a private garden/patio at the rear.

I'm looking for a professional (full or part-time) or postgraduate student, ideally aged 30–50, who values a peaceful home environment. I teach, tutor and write, so sometimes work from home/sometimes will be out during the day, but I'm sociable and happy to chat over a coffee or glass of wine.

You'd also be sharing the flat with Byron, my seven-year-old husky, who is gentle, calm and very friendly. He'd love to go on walks or play tug of war with you, but he does shed quite a bit, so this sadly isn't the right home for anyone with asthma or pet allergies.

Bills included in the rent. Council tax Band C. Minimum stay one month, maximum six.

15min walk to Kingsbury tube. 20min walk or a short bus ride to Colindale tube, or short bus ride to Hendon Thameslink.
