Hey, I’m Barney and I’m 21. I moved to London around 3 years ago and have lived with my two friends Hannah and Isabella over the last two years at a house we found together. With all of our circumstances changing, I’m looking for 2 new flatmates to welcome to our current house share!

In terms of the current place, it’s directly next to the Imperial War Museum, 5-10 minutes walking to Lambeth North, 10-15 minutes walking to Waterloo, and walkable across the river into central London. It’s a maisonette (top two floors of a three-story house), with my room and another bedroom upstairs, and the third bedroom on the floor with the kitchen, bathroom and living room. The shared areas are spacious: the living room has a vaulted ceiling, Velux windows, and double doors leading to a balcony that gets loads of sun and looks out onto greenery (it honestly doesn’t feel like central London). The landlords have been super responsive and helpful with any issues over the last two years, they used to live in the property, and now have a team of maintenance people who are always around if needed. All of the bedrooms are fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, desk/chair and bedside table, the kitchen has every appliance you can think of, and I decorated the living room last summer to make it a space we can make the most of. Despite being in such a central location, the immediate area feels very residential and safe and the girls I have lived with would second that. So close to the South Bank, Lower Marsh, The Cut for cute shops and cafes, lots of good local pubs, gyms and supermarkets.

I have really enjoyed living here over the last two years for all of the reason explained above and would love to find two new people to share the place with.

I would love to share with people of a similar age to me, preferably young professionals who would like to do things together and become friends as well as flatmates. I am into fitness and running, I love fashion and shopping, and love going for a drink or a night out. So whether it be tennis in the local park, going to a run club, watching a movie in the living room, sharing a bottle of wine on the balcony, going dancing or exploring London, I would love to meet people who I can make as good memories as I’ve made with my housemates of the last two years!

I am very clean and tidy, and we have always kept the place clean and organised without a strict rota, and would like to replicate that easy going, respectful and comfortable living style. I also like my own time and space and the current house layout provides a good balance of spending time together and privacy.

The rent for the current place is 1100 per person, broadband is included, other bills are extra but they have never been too much. Our current lease runs to end of July, so any new housemates would be looking at an August start date but there can be flexibility around that.
