A spacious furnished double room available in a friendly 2-bedroom split-level flat with a good sized kitchen and separate living/dining room. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, along with a separate bathroom and toilet, which makes sharing the space easy and comfortable.

The flat is in a great location — around a 5–10 minute walk from Leyton Midland Road station, with a bus stop right outside the flat offering easy access to Leyton Underground (Central Line) (or you can walk there in 15 mins) and Stratford station. We’re also close to Hollow Ponds and beautiful green spaces, perfect for walks and getting out into nature, while Leyton itself has loads of great independent bars, cafés and restaurants nearby.

I’m a 46-year-old live-in landlord looking for someone who wants a genuine home rather than just somewhere to sleep. I’m quite a homebody and enjoy relaxing at home watching films and TV, listening to music, cooking, and occasionally having friends over for dinner. I also play badminton, sing in a choir, and enjoy spending time with friends. I’m not a big drinker and the flat definitely has more of a calm, cosy atmosphere than a party vibe.

I live with my dog Milo, who is 11 years old and honestly the sweetest and most handsome dog around. He can be a little sensitive at first, so it’s really important to find someone who genuinely loves dogs, is patient with them, and would enjoy having him around. It would be ideal if you work from home a couple of days a week, as Milo enjoys the company when I’m out.

I’m looking for someone clean, tidy, considerate and easy to live with — someone who enjoys a balance of going out and staying in, and who’d be happy occasionally sharing a meal, watching a film together, or just enjoying a relaxed home environment. Friends coming over for dinner is absolutely fine, but this probably isn’t the right fit for someone with a very busy nightlife or who regularly brings different guests back to the flat.
