A furnished double room is available in a spacious house in Leytonstone, a short walk from Leytonstone Central line station.

The property offers considerably more space than a typical house share. There will be only two residents, and alongside the double bedroom the lodger will have use of a separate upstairs lounge as additional living space.

You’ll also be the main user of the first-floor bathroom, although it is shared occasionally.

The furnished double room has space to add some of your own furniture if you wish.

You’ll also have use of:

• a shared kitchen with your own fridge/freezer and cupboard space

Working from home is welcome.

You’ll be sharing with a live-in resident landlord.
I’m a local church minister and occasionally use the downstairs part of the house for church-related meetings and visitors. There is no expectation that a lodger would have any involvement in church life.

I’m looking for someone who would enjoy a friendly, relaxed home where we can be sociable and chat, but also comfortably do our own thing.

The property is non-smoking and non-vaping throughout, including the garden. I have a cat, so the room would not be suitable for someone with a cat allergy, and no additional pets are permitted.
Location

A short walk from Leytonstone Central line station, with easy links to Stratford, the City and central London.
Leytonstone High Road, local shops, cafés and restaurants are nearby, with Wanstead Flats and other green spaces also within easy reach.

Rent and terms
£900 per month, including gas, electricity, water, Council Tax and broadband.
Deposit: one month’s rent.
Single occupancy only.
The arrangement is with a live-in resident landlord and will run on a monthly basis.
