Hi I'm Jamie.

'm looking for someone to live in my spacious spare room in Leytonstone, Zone 3. It's a decent sized flat that looks out onto a park, with lots of trees and parks nearby.

Rent is £625pcm, with bills it is £850pcm.

I live in a quiet block and area with great transport links in walking distance: Central Line at Leyton (10 minutes), Elizabeth Line at Maryland (15-20 minutes or regular bus), and the Suffragette Line at Leyton High Road (less than 10 minutes). You can easily be in central London very quickly, there's also everything at Straford and in Leytonstone and Leyton, with lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby.

The flat has large rooms and the living room has a balcony looking over the park. It is well insulated so stays warm in winter. The kitchen has a big cooker with gas and electric. The bathroom is shared and spacious. Storage overall is limited but the bedroom has lots of space with a large wardrobe and chest of drawers and space under the bed. There is also an old flat screen TV you can use in the room if you want it. Amenities include a washer/dryer or clothes rails, spacious fridge and freezer, a shower and bath, TV in the living room, WiFi, and a balcony looking out over the park.

A bit about me: I'm turning 44, I'm gay/queer, I work in East London and split working from home and in the office. I'm sober, enjoy dancing (clubbing and ecstatic dance), theatre, films, gigs, and exercise. I am more of a homebody these days and have graduated from late nights but I can be tempted to the odd day festival or event if the music and vibe is good. I have a partner who lives out of town and who stays over regularly with his dog.

Ideally I'm looking for someone who is in a similar place in their lives as I am, is LGBTQI+ or friendly, and is either sober or not a heavy drinker or party animal. I have a busy life but it would be good to have some social time with and create a warm, friendly household with meals or catching TV together when our schedules fit. I work from home some days and we can coordinate when we are both at home to accommodate working space in the day, though the room has a good, small desk. Due to the dog you will need to be ok with animals and unfortunately its not going to be suitable for anyone with an allergy.
