Cozy double room in homey flat

Hi there!

After calling this beautiful place home for four years, I'm looking for a wonderful soul to take over my lease as I'll be leaving London.

The room comes fully furnished with wardrobe, chest of drawers and box shelves. There's remarkably good storage for the size of the room. Under the bed fits four IKEA 90x53x19 storage cases and on top of the wardrobe can hold more things. There's also a locker sized cupboard in the main corridor that can hold larger suitcases.

My housemate has an ensuite bathroom in her room so the spacious one pictured (with a bathtub!) is all yours. No queuing when you've snoozed the alarm and are running late to work.

The flat is the perfect size for two people, with everything you need. There's a workspace and moniter in the living room. However, my housemate does work from home so ideally we are looking for someone who doesn't, as that might feel a little crowded.

There are two rooftop teraces (a spacious one on the 6th floor and one with a stunning view on the 12th floor). Unfortunately, both currently closed due to construction but expected to reopen in the next few months.

The location is ideal (6 minute walk from Limehouse station, 20min walk to Canary Wharf and 15min cycle into Shoreditch). Bus stops for the 15, 135 and 115 are also just outside the flat.

A lot of effort and love has gone into making the flat feel like a home, rather than simply a place to crash. My housemate and I have enjoyed many evenings of crafting, drawing painting, crocheting while debriefing the events of our day. Hoping to find someone who shares that calm energy and contributes to the domestic upkeep.

As part of the viewing process, I'll be asking to have a phone call/facetime, prior to a home visit, to get a sense of the vibe and avoid viewing burnout.

I've listed the 10th of September as the move in date as this is the date we pay rent from each month. However, there is some flexibility as I'll be staying with a friend through my transition overseas.
