I'm looking for one considerate professional to share this beautiful townhouse with me for a shorter stay.

Your room is a large double with its own ensuite - with separate bath and shower - and windows looking straight out over the river. It's an iconic view and an iconic location, and after a while you still don't get used to it.

It comes fully furnished (bedding and linen can be included if needed).

Four bedrooms in total. It's spacious, quiet and calm, with plenty of room to have your own space when you want it.

Open-plan kitchen and living room with balcony windows that open right onto the Thames.

- 5-10 min walk to Limehouse & Westferry DLR
- 20 min walk to Canary Wharf

All bills included — heating, electricity, water, council tax and broadband.

The house is going on the market shortly and will most likely sell within 2–10 months. It's a real opportunity to experience a home of this quality and history.

This is a lodger/lodging basis, not a normal rental. I'm a fellow lodger helping the landlord find the right person. There will be three of us in total including the landlord.

Minimum two months, then a rolling monthly agreement.

It suits someone relocating, on a fixed-term contract, between properties, or working in London part of the week. If you need long-term certainty this isn't the right room.

*Who we're looking for *

Suits someone in need of a quiet place to live outside of work, and ideally isn't working from home full-time.
A working professional, employed or self-employed, who is quiet, clean and considerate of shared space. We all work hard, enjoy sharing a space with interesting people, but this is a calm household rather than a party house.

*What the landlord will require*:

Proof of employment or income, a reference from a previous landlord or employer, and a £1800 deposit alongside the first month's rent. All standard, and it means we all know where we stand.
