3 min walk to DLR + Private W/C + Lovely Views!

TLDR: Good-sized room that fits a double bed, your own bathroom, balcony with views of Limehouse Basin, and only 3 minutes from Limehouse DLR. Sharing with just us, a friendly couple.

Hey! We’re looking for a new flatmate to join us, Camila and Matías, in our lovely home on the Limehouse Basin.

The room is a good size with a large window and comes with a double bed, desk and wardrobe. You'd also have your own private bathroom with a shower, just outside the room, and there is some additional shared storage.

The flat has a big living room, and kitchen with loads of space, as well as a lovely balcony overlooking the basin and boats. The gated building has a concierge/security, private garden, bike storage and underground parking. We are on a second floor with a lift.

The location is great: 3 minutes from Limehouse DLR, with the river, canals, Commercial Road, shops and gyms all nearby. It's very easy to get into central London. We are also close to some of the best riverside pubs in London such as The Grapes and The Prospect of Whitby!

A bit about us: we're Camila (25) and Matías (29), an Argentine couple. Camila is an actress, studies Film Studies at UAL and works part-time as a nanny, while Matías is starting an Master in Jazz Piano at the Guildhall School and working freelance as a VFX artist. We’re both very into music, cinema, gigs, theatre, art and exploring London. We’re sociable and enjoy having a chat, cooking together or occasionally doing something with our flatmates, but we also have our own lives and respect each other’s space.

We're looking for someone friendly, clean, responsible and communicative, who wants to make the flat feel like a home. Taking initiative with things like cleaning, bins and looking after the flat is very important to us.

Our current flatmate is leaving in October because his visa is expiring. We've had a great relationship with him and are looking for someone new to join us.

Rent: £980/month currently
Bills: ~£120/month (WiFi, electricity and council tax band F)
Move-in: 20 October 2026
Deposit: ~£1,000
Tenancy: rolling, with 2 months' notice. Looking for someone who wants to stay until at least September 2027.

Just to be transparent about the rent: luckily, our landlord hasn’t increased the rent this year so far, so it is currently still £980/month. As we’ve now been here for a year, they may still decide to review it, but we haven’t heard anything yet. We’ll of course keep you fully informed if anything changes.
