I’m subletting my large double room from 1 July to 31 August while I’m away for the summer.

The room is spacious, bright and comfortable, with wooden floors, a big south-facing window, a lovely top-floor city view, a desk/work area and good storage. It is furnished and has a comfortable sofa bed with a proper high mattress designed for daily use.

The flat is in Bethnal Green / Whitechapel, 5 minutes’ walk from both Whitechapel station and Bethnal Green tube station. Brick Lane, Columbia Road, Shoreditch and the City are all within easy reach.

You would be sharing with my current lodger, a professional woman in her early 40s who has lived here for a year and a half. She is very tidy, quiet and respectful, so I’m looking for someone equally considerate, clean and calm.

Rent is £1,150 pcm, bills included. The total rent for the two-month stay is £2,300. Deposit is £1,000.

Single occupancy only. No smoking. No pets.

This would suit a clean, respectful professional looking for a calm, comfortable short-term room in East London.
