We’re looking for someone to take over a room in our six-person flat in East London.
We’re a mixed group of practicing Buddhists from a range of traditions, and we aim to create a warm, friendly, and supportive home environment. While everyone has their own lives, work, and practice, we value kindness, mutual support, and a sense of community within the household.
As a house, we cook communally with everyone usually cooking once a week for each other. We also set aside one evening a week to spend time together socially. Sometimes this might be a shared meal, chilling at the park, a film night, a discussion, a board game, or occasionally some practice together. Participation is encouraged, but the atmosphere is relaxed rather than rigid.
The house is LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming of people from different backgrounds. We’re looking for someone who enjoys community living and would appreciate being part of a household where people know and care about one another, while also respecting each other’s independence and space.
