Beautiful Victorian home in Maryland

Hello! My name is Reuben and I'm looking for two friendly, respectful housemates to join me in this lovely Maryland home, a stone’s throw from Stratford and just a 5-minute walk from the Elizabeth line.

The home is a beautiful Victorian terraced house at the end of a quiet residential street. I have spent 12 very happy years here, renting directly from my lovely landlord and with various wonderful housemates. It is truly is a home to cherish rather than just another generic professional house share.

The ground floor is a large open-plan living room and beautiful, light and airy kitchen extension with folding doors opening out onto a beautiful little patio and garden which gets sunlight all day! There is also a downstairs toilet. I am based on the top floor with my en-suite bathroom, and the two available bedrooms are on the middle floor, as well as a lovely modern bathroom, complete with bath and shower.

Bedroom 1: A bright, ample double with plenty of space for storage. Looks over the end of the quiet, residential street. Part-furnished (mattress, desk, chest of drawers, 2 side units).

Bedroom 2: A small, cosy double with amazing natural light all day and views over the garden. Comes fully furnished. Best suited to someone who’s in the office and doesn’t need loads of personal space at home.

I'm Reuben, a primary school teacher in a small local community school. I'm relaxed, sociable, and enjoy hanging out and catching up in the evenings, but also appreciate and am respectful of individual space. I love listening to music, playing the piano (pianists, budding or otherwise, welcome!), cycling, walks, house plants, dogs and sitting in the garden with a beer and the doors flung open – when the weather permits! The house has always been kept very clean and tidy and I am looking for people who’ll treat it like their own home and appreciate the beautiful space that it is :)
