Two Double Rooms in Beautiful Shared House

Room 1

We're looking to fill two double rooms in a beautiful house in Upper Walthamstow, available from 1 December (with possibility to move in earlier).

Sadly, we can't accept pets or couples.

THE ROOMS/HOUSE:
The house is spacious with large communal areas and garden with our own growing patch and fruit trees. We organise house & garden maintenance collectively both to make savings and to distribute labour fairly.

Room 1 (£580 + bills) is a double that has built-in shelves and wardrobes, with a sunny window overlooking a peaceful back garden.

Room 2 (£620 + bills) is a large double room with spacious storage, with bay windows overlooking a peaceful residential street and a large tree.

The rooms come unfurnished, but there is some furniture that can be inherited if you want.

BILLS & ADMIN:

Bills range between £100 and £180 each per month depending on the season:

Energy: £20 - 95 (higher for heating in winter)
Water: £15
Internet: £8
Council tax (Band E): £61

The deposit is one month's rent and is required to secure the room.

HOUSEMATES:

It is a queer household of two people (ages late 20's-30's), J (she/they) and N (they/them) working in the ecological, music, and care fields.

Our interests range from travelling, arts & culture, gardening, music, to liberation and social justice. We're looking for someone who appreciates a peaceful and clean environment of house-sharing with good communication skills, and who wants to actively contribute to the functioning of our home.

In terms of lifestyle, we are a relatively social but also very independent household. The house can be lively at times, and more settled at others.
