Lodger Double Room with small family

Looking for a lodger in our family home. Someone who loves kids and has worked with or looked after kids previously, (as it will be sharing with me and my 6 year old son) and is happy living with the busy bumbling life of a small family!

The rent is cheap in exchange for 2 nights of babysitting per week. This will be one weekend evening every two weeks and weekday evenings usually from 6.30.

I am a musician and voice coach, mostly teaching in a drama school and occasionally teaching singing in my home studio. Would need someone who loves music and would be happy with hearing live music at home. My partner, who is currently living in New York and also a musician, is also a musician and will visit and play music in the house.

Ideal for a post-grad student or someone who does not work from home.

My son and I are both sociable people. We’re looking for someone who is sociable and wants to build relationships with the people they live with. It wouldn’t suit someone who prefers to be anonymous in their living situation. We're looking for someone who likes to chat over cups of tea with the occasional shared meal.

I am 42, well travelled, make things, love cooking and usually have a number of projects on the go. My son is friendly, outgoing and highly loveable…

The house has a big kitchen and gorgeous garden. There’s some storage space in the cellar for suitcases. Living room available when I’m out. The bathroom is shared. I would want someone who is clean, tidy and respectful and also relaxed.
