Hello,

I am leaving my lovely home in Mile End to return to Canada. We are looking for someone to take over a cozy double bed room, with a tentative move-in date of Sunday, August 29.

You would be living with 2 women, both in their early-mid 30s. One of them has lived here for 3 years and the other moved in last September, so we’re looking for someone who will love and care for the flat as much as we have and someone who is looking for a long-term stay.

The flat is furnished, your room will include a bed+mattress, generous sized 3-door wardrobe which includes a hanging rail and drawer storage. Optional pieces include a desk, dresser, and two storage ottomans. There’s a large window that overlooks the courtyard, where you have a cozy view of the railway arches and the trees outside, as well as cherry blossoms in the springtime. You will share the main bathroom with only one other housemate as one of the rooms has an ensuite.

The main living space is open plan, and includes a well-equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, and plenty of cupboard space. The living room is a great size, flooded with light during the day and super cosy in the evenings. The space also includes a large balcony which is great in the summertime.

We do also have access to a private underground parking spot, so if you drive a nice bonus!

The closest station is Mile End (Central, District, Hammersmith & City lines). We are well-serviced by bus too and are a 20min walk to beautiful Victoria park and less than 10mins to Bartlett park. We have lots of supermarkets nearby: Tesco Express, Sainsbury’s Local, & Lidl Limehouse within 10 mins walk and a lovely corner shop across the street from the flat.

We are looking for someone who will be a good fit for the flat who enjoys doing their own things but also will come to the local for a pint or enjoy watching crap tv together after work. Due to the open plan space, someone who works outside the home with no more than 1 or 2 days WFH is preferred. Someone who is respectful and clean is also very important as this home is cared for and well looked after.
