Large, furnished, dbl with large bathroom available in two-bed ultra modern canalside flat in Omegaworks, Hackney Wick.

Ideal for a professional commuter or couple. I'm looking for people who are friendly, nice and clean (of course) and respect that they are joining a lovely home.

Your room has a dbl with firm mattress, side table, chest of drawers, wardrobe + chair. Its nice and bright with easy, private access to your family sized bathroom.

The flat has an ultra modern interior with stylish fittings, and a private sunny balcony overlooking the canal.

OmegaWorks is well-known in the Hackney area, for its creative and community-minded spirit. Many people in the building work in the creative industries and there is a super-friendly vibe and we all swap tips and advice for things in the area. There's an awesome cafe on our road - Stour Space - with floating pontoon on the canal : fantastic coffee and brekkie with view of the Olympic stadium. The Olympic Park with all its facilities and transport links is right next door.

Hackney Wick overground is 7 min walk around the canal, from here, 5 stops to Highbury & Islington - it takes me 40 mins to get into central London. Stratford (Westfield shopping centre, Stratford International and Stratford underground with Jubilee and Central lines) is 1 stop or now a 5 min cycle/12 min walk across the Olympic Park. Its very easy to cycle from here through Victoria Park (5 mins away) to Hackney/London Fields/Broadway Market etc. Homerton Hospital is 15 min cycle from here and there's easy access to Canary Wharf and the City.

I'm 40 from the UK but I've lived and worked a lot overseas. I'm a self employed Marketing & Communications/Design Writer for architects and engineers. I've also been an adventure travel tour guide, working in most countries in east and southern Africa and in South America. So basically, I enjoy life and believe in making it count.
