I’d love to welcome you into my home. I have for rent, a large bright and sunny double room located near Stoke Newington Common and Stoke Newington Church Street with desk, shelving and a large triple full height built in wardrobe.

The four storey block has free off street parking and intercom access. Excellent transport connections to the both the City and West End. I also have a bike shed on the ground floor, which has room for 1 more bike. I’m on the top two floors - note no lift.

I am an ethically minded finance professional and have lived in the flat for 26 years. I enjoy cooking, the odd glass of wine (I can shake a mean cocktail too) and going to the cinema and theatre and travel. I'm happy to share cooking and have a regular organic food delivery. I have an active social life outside the flat, I belong to a local book and knitting groups, cycling, am heavily involved with Tower Theatre and the local and national WI, but at home I like the quiet life and watch TV and listen to the radio. I come from quite an artistic and crafty family so I always have one or more craft project on the go. I travel away quite lot so often the tenant will have sole occupancy for all or part of the week on a fairly regular basis.

I’m hoping to find a someone, who is independent, but who doesn’t mind sharing the odd glass of wine, or gin, who has their own circle of friends and routine, someone who is courteous and polite and can occasionally recommend a good book or Theatre show.

I cannot recommend the area highly enough if you are looking to live in zone 2, but still have access to really nice cafes, restaurants and parks within walking distance, while keeping easy access to central London and multiple forms of public transport.

If a couple is interested the cost of the room is £1250 per calendar month. Plus one months rent as a deposit.

Short term let for a single (1-3 months) £900 pcm with no deposit. Couple £1,400 no deposit.

I’m open to the idea of a Monday to Friday tenant at a reduced rent (£650 single occupancy/ £850 double occupancy pcm) (deposit required for M-F let if more than 3 month agreement)
