Hackney Downs ensuite double in spacious flat

I’m offering a double room with a spacious ensuite and built wardrobe storage in my two-bedroom flat in Hackney. The room has just been redecorated and refreshed, so it’s clean, comfortable and ready for someone to move straight into. Bedding can be provided (as pictured) but new occupant may well want to bring/purchase their own duvet, pillows and sheets. Decorating with own pictures and furniture permitted within reason.

The flat is modern, bright and well maintained, with a good-sized shared living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. I'm about to buy a new separate fridge freezer, which the tenant will have exclusive use of. Perfect fit honeycomb blinds for the bedroom are also on their way and should be installed in the next couple of weeks.

The room would suit a professional looking for a comfortable, relaxed home rather than a party flat.

A little about us: I’m an online teacher and work mostly from home, so I’m around during the day, but I’m quiet and away from the communal area most of the time. My girlfriend manages a bar and works only in the evenings, so our schedules complement each other and the flat is generally pretty calm. I’m British but can speak Portuguese and Spanish, and Eli is Spanish and speaks Spanish and English.

Bills work out around £140 per month per person.

We’re looking for someone considerate, clean and easygoing who will treat the flat as their home. We’re happy to socialise and have a chat, but equally respect each other’s space and privacy.
