Double room in Mare St, Hackney

Double room available in a relaxed, friendly and clean flatshare on Mare Street, Hackney.

There are two of us living here, plus our Labrador, so being a genuine dog person is a must. She’s very friendly, well behaved and very much part of the household 🐶

We’re looking for someone 30+, ideally working full-time, who is clean, considerate and easy-going. We’re looking for someone who enjoys a friendly home but also respects everyone’s space.

The flat

The room is semi-furnished with:

• Bed
• Wardrobe
• Chest of drawers
• Shelf

There is one bathroom and one kitchen, and no living room, so it’s important that you’re comfortable with a more simple and practical flatshare setup.

Keeping the communal areas clean is really important to us. We clean as we go and are looking for someone who naturally does the same. We’re not looking for someone who leaves dishes, food or mess around the kitchen or bathroom.

The atmosphere at home is relaxed and friendly, but definitely not a party flat. We’re looking for someone who is considerate and enjoys a peaceful home.

The room is for single occupancy only, so unfortunately no couples.

The location 📍

The flat is right on Mare Street in Hackney, surrounded by shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, with pretty much everything you need within walking distance.

London Fields Overground is around 5–8 minutes away, with Cambridge Heath also nearby. Bethnal Green Central Line is roughly a 10–15 minute walk. There are also loads of buses directly from Mare Street, making it really easy to get around East and Central London.

London Fields, Victoria Park and Broadway Market are all close by, which is particularly handy if you enjoy walks, coffee, brunch or having a nice weekend around the neighbourhood.

There are supermarkets, smaller shops and plenty of cafés and restaurants right around the flat.
