Hi everyone! 😊

A bit of a last-minute post, but my partner and I have decided to travel for a few weeks and, after chatting with our lovely flatmates, we thought we'd rent out our room while we're away.

The room is available from 25 July until 25 August (around 4 weeks).
Couples welcome. Only nice considerable people, please.

Our home is a charming three-bedroom house with two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and the real gem of the house: a bright, cosy living room with large windows that fill the space with natural light.

Photos of the room will be added very soon! We're just making some space for your belongings, so it looks a little messy for pictures right now. The room is spacious and overlooks the garden through a large window. If you're lucky, you might even spot the neighbourhood fox having a nap on the roof outside. 🦊

The room includes a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, a desk, monitor, chest of drawers, wardrobe (with plenty of space for your things), and a fan for warmer days. We're also happy to provide fresh cotton bed linen and towels if you'd like.

Our house has a friendly early-30s vibe. You'll be sharing with Lilly, who works (a lot!) at a lovely local café and a fantastic nearby restaurant. She loves cooking, so the fridge is usually full of fresh vegetables. If you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of her curly hair bouncing around the house before she heads off to work in the morning.

Upstairs are Cooper and Fran, a lovely Australian couple. They're both sporty and usually together. Fran is doing a Master's in Political Science focusing on climate, so she's often studying. Cooper is somewhere between a lawyer and a personal trainer, and he recently bought an Xbox for the living room—I'm pretty sure he'd be happy to let you have a game.

The house also has both a washing machine and a dishwasher, and you're welcome to use our basic household products while you're staying.

We're Bruno and Julia, a cheerful Brazilian couple who love travelling, cooking, sharing meals with friends and meeting new people. Sadly, we won't be here to welcome you ourselves, but we'll do everything we can to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

We chose this area very carefully because we absolutely love it. There's an excellent off-licence and grocery shop just across the street, a Lidl nearby, a huge Tesco about 15 minutes away, plus an even closer Tesco Express and Sainsbury's Local.

The location is right between Victoria Park and London Fields, with Broadway Market just around the corner—perfect for summer, with endless cafés, restaurants, pubs and bars, while still being on a quiet residential street.

We're just off Mare Street, where you can catch plenty of buses into the City, Central London, charming Stoke Newington, and with easy connections to Stansted Airport. It's a 7-minute walk to London Fields Overground (direct, air-conditioned trains to Liverpool Street) and about a 12-minute walk to Bethnal Green Underground (Central Line). It's genuinely one of the best-connected areas in East London.

Pricing:
• £1,350 for the whole month (all bills included), which is considerably less than what we pay.
• Weekly stays are also possible: £500 per week, or £450 per week for longer stays.

If this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to hear from you! 😊
