KCL Postgrad Room Takeover – Urbanest City, £336pw

Hi! I’m looking for a KCL postgraduate student to take over my room at Urbanest City, Vine Street, EC3N 2PX, from early November (flexible) until the end of my contract on 11/09/2027.

This is an official contract transfer through King’s Residences, not a sublet. You sign your own licence agreement directly with KCL. The flat is in a King’s-only part of the building, so your flatmates are all KCL postgrads.

The room
£336 per week, all bills and Wi-Fi included. It’s a lockable non-ensuite room (about 8 sq m) with a small double bed (120 x 190 cm) and its own washbasin, in a 4-bed flat. Two bathrooms and a kitchen are shared between just four people.

The building
Urbanest City is a modern, award-winning residence in the historic City of London, built around a section of the Roman London Wall. It has 24/7 reception and secure access, an on-site café, common rooms and study areas with views over the City, outdoor social space, a laundry room and bike storage.

KCL extras
As a resident of a GradPlus residence, you get free annual peak membership at the Strand (Bush House) and Waterloo gyms, plus access to GradPlus social events for postgrads.

Location
Tower Hill station is a 3-minute walk away, and Aldgate and Fenchurch Street are also close by, with easy links to all KCL campuses. Guy’s Campus is just over a mile away. Tower Bridge and St Katharine Docks are around the corner.

Who can take over (KCL’s rules):
*Full-time KCL postgraduate student, already enrolled with your course started
*Not currently living in King’s Residences, and not having lived in them earlier this academic year
*No outstanding fees owed to KCL

How it works
If you’re interested, we both contact King’s Residences, and they approve the transfer and send you your own agreement. You pay KCL directly: a £450 rent pre-payment (counted towards your rent) and a £50 admin fee. I don’t take any money from you.
