Hello! I'm looking for someone to take over my room in a gorgeous 2-bed maisonette in London Fields — right by the park and a 2 minute walk from Broadway Market. The flat boasts 2 floors and 2 gardens (one is south facing) and is in a quiet estate with a real community feeling. It's also a 5 minute walk to London Fields station on the Weaver line, a 12 minute walk to Haggerston station on the Windrush line, and has bike storage.

The room itself is a spacious double room with a large built-in wardrobe and loft-style storage for bigger items like suitcases etc. It comes furnished with a double bed frame and mattress. The floating shelves are mine but I'd be happy to sell them to the new tenant for a good price. There is space for a desk or there's the option to have a work-from-home setup in the living room.

Rent for this room is £870 per month and the bills on top come to £222.32 each per month. This includes wifi, gas and electric, council tax, water, tv licence, and a cleaner twice a month. All-in-all the monthly cost for rent and bills would be £1,092.32.

You'd be living with the lovely Rose, a civil servant who has been renting the flat for 6 years. Rose enjoys swimming at the local lido, spending time with friends, and cooking up a storm. It's a very homely vibe in the flat and a lovely housemate dynamic of respecting each other's space but also spending time together — whether that's a cup of tea and an episode of Grand Designs or catching up over dinner. In the kitchen, nearly everything is communal apart from your own specific foodstuffs of course, but utensils and essentials like oil, spices, etc. are shared. We keep the flat clean and tidy day-to-day, and we have a cleaner who comes twice a month.

We're looking for a professional woman or LGBTQ+ person/man in their late 20s/early 30s who can bring this same warm, friendly, and considerate energy to the home.

I've loved living in this flat for the past 18 months and am only leaving to start a new chapter moving in with my partner. Otherwise I'd happily live here for a long time coming!
