The room is set up for working from home and I can supply a monitor.

The flat is in a secure modern block, and has an open plan living room and kitchen. Strong wifi.

The room usually suits people who appreciate a homely, calm and convenient base for stays of 3 months or longer.

Excellent transport connections via the central line (Bethnal Green, 6 minutes walk, Zone 2) and Cambridge Heath overground. Elizabeth Line for Heathrow is also nearby via Whitechapel or Liverpool Street.

Buses to Westfield Stratford, Liverpool Street, the west end stop directly outside the apartment block - routes 26, 55, 106, 254, 388 and D6.

Shoreditch, Liverpool Street, Columbia Road market, Brick Lane and Bethnal Green as well as Hackney Central are all within walking distance.

About me - I’m a live in landlady and I work 3 days in the office and am home most evenings. I am retraining so I’m at home studying a lot in the evenings and weekends and keep things quite low key and calm in the flat.

As my place is right next to the railway line and bus garage there is a lot of urban sound, so it would not suit light sleepers.

About the cat - he is a large, fluffy and very friendly indoor ragdoll cat, likes attention and napping on his back.

Rent includes all bills and council tax, paid in advance.

Deposit is one month’s rent.

I take references and proof of employment and identity and I am happy to provide a written lodger agreement.

Minimum length of stay is 3 months. It is a lodger rather than flat sharing arrangement so no lease to sign up to.

The room is available for viewings from 27 June and move ins from 04 July.

Single occupancy only, no couples or room-sharers.
