A pretty garden facing room in large early Victorian house with leafy garden.
The house is very light and airy with tall windows in every room and the hallway, giving views of trees or the garden wherever you are in the house even in the bathroom!
The room is on the first floor facing the garden and is double glazed for quiet and warmth.
The house is situated between Islington and Highbury with Dalston, Hackney, Euston Kings cross and the City all within easy cycling and even pleasant walking distance.
I prefer to do Zoom or WhatsApp viewings and/ or talk on the phone before making an appointment to meet in person. I live between Devon and London so I am only at the house two to three nights week when I am teaching but there will be times when you wont see me for a month or so depending on my schedule. For this reason its easier to do the first meeting online and then if you are interested and it seems a good fit I can arrange a viewing with those who also live at the house.
MORE DETAILS
The room is currently furnished with a double bed, work table, built in cupboard and hanging space. At the moment the room is slightly differently organised than in the photos.
I am an artist and lecturer at London University. I have a 10 year old son. Ocassionalyy we will come for a weekends or during the holiday y to see relatives and friends and at these times my son will be with me.
You will be sharing with Samantha and Selin. Its a respectful household and there is plenty of room to interact or retire to your own space as you feel the need. The house is kept clean with a fortnightly cleaner included in the bills contribution. The house has a welcome and homely feel with high ceilings wooden floors and large windows.
As all the bedrooms are double glazed its calm and quiet even though we are on St Pauls Rd and with the railway behind.
We have a pretty cat called Cosi who is house trained and outside most of the day and some nights too. She is very quiet and gentle, sometimes affectionate but is also used to be being kept out of rooms in case of allergies.
